Richard Heeley's teabowls
and yunomi are in my opinion some of the finest being made by any
British Potter. He continues to explore and evolve the forms and his
decoration. His subject matter consists of fish, seascapes and flora.
The stoneware and porcelain clays that he uses are handled with consummate
skill and understanding . He is currently also developing wood firing
of his work which brings its own character to both the glaze and body.
