Oakwood Ceramics, formally the Oakwood Gallery are totally focused on 20th Century contemporary studio pottery movement . Our mission from the beginning, has been to inform, and promote the finest pots, created by many of the foremost potters working here in the UK and also Internationally. Our love is of high temperature, reduction fired work, using a variety of fuels, oil, gas and wood. We were inspired by the writings of Bernard Leach, reading his magnum opus, “A Potter's Book” in the 1960's.
Our life's journey has been enriched by the many friendships and the pottery we have been privileged to encounter along the way.
