celebrate the Millennium, the Lion Salt Works Trust collaborated
with the highly respected potter Steve Harrison to produce a limited
edition firing of 145 pots glazed with salt produced at the Lion
piece bears the potters mark and the larger pieces in addition to
the trust's logo and date have a lion mask inspired by the salt
glazed bellarmines which had the face of Cardinal Bellarmine depicted.
The Lion Salt Works pieces were therefore aptly named Leomines.
Leomine is numbered 72 to the base and comes with brochure and certificate.
Wonderful classic blue salt glaze colour and texture. This Leomine
jug is not only extremely rare but is a true one off as all 145
pieces in the edition were different in form and glaze effect.
